Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 5, 2026

1. Who we are

steamcommunity.love is run by Decker Enterprises LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company (entity ID 002007630) with its mailing address at 500 Cummings Center, Suite 6500A PMB 70318, Beverly, MA 01915 ("Decker Enterprises", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data the website handles about the people who visit it and the players shown on it.

2. Data about visitors

There are no accounts and no login, and we never ask for your Steam password. When you visit:

  • Analytics. We count page visits with our own self-hosted, cookieless analytics (Plausible, at analytics.cs2.space). It records the page, referrer, browser type and country, and stores no IP address.
  • Server logs. Our web server keeps standard access logs: your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested (which shows any profile you looked up) and the time. We use them only to keep the site secure and working, and they are deleted automatically after 14 days.
  • Cookies. We do not set cookies or keep anything in your browser's storage.
  • Emails. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can reply. Incoming mail is received through Resend.

3. Data about players

When someone looks up a Steam account, we retrieve publicly available information about it through CS2.SPACE, our API service. Depending on the account, this can include its Steam profile, ban status, level, badges, games and playtime, Counter-Strike 2 statistics and inventory, and any public FACEIT and Leetify details such as ratings, recent matches and recent teammates.

We only access what the player has made public on those platforms. We keep it temporarily to answer repeat lookups quickly: profiles for up to 3 hours, inventories for up to 30 minutes, and a backup copy of an inventory for up to 7 days, used only if the platform is temporarily unavailable. We do not build long-term profiles of players or sell this data.

Profile pages for public accounts can appear in search engine results, and links to them show a preview image with the player's name, avatar and stats. Private profiles are marked so search engines leave them out. Search engines and the apps where links are shared keep their own copies for a time, and we don't control those.

If you do not want your data to appear here, set your Steam profile or inventory to private, which stops us from accessing it. You can also email help@decker.enterprises with your SteamID and we will delete any data we hold about you.

4. Who receives data

  • Steam, FACEIT and Leetify: we send them the SteamID being looked up. We do not send them information about you as a visitor.
  • Proxy network providers: used to retrieve public inventory data. They receive the SteamID being looked up.
  • Hostinger: hosting of our servers in the United States.
  • Resend: receives emails sent to our support address.
  • Font services: when a player's name uses characters our own fonts don't include, our server requests them from Google Fonts or jsDelivr to draw the preview image. They receive those characters, not information about you.
  • Image hosts: when a profile page opens, your browser loads avatars and item images directly from Steam and, where shown, FACEIT and Leetify, plus rank images from cs2.space, country flags from jsDelivr and weapon icons from GitHub. These hosts can see your IP address and browser, as with any web request.

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights, safety or property of Decker Enterprises or others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the site.

5. Why we use data

We use this data to run the site, answer lookups, keep the site secure and reply to you. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing and protecting the site, including showing publicly available player data.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email help@decker.enterprises, and include your SteamID if you are a player. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data as visitors. If you believe we hold such data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Questions go to help@decker.enterprises or by mail to Decker Enterprises LLC, 500 Cummings Center, Suite 6500A PMB 70318, Beverly, MA 01915.
